![]() ![]() It's very rare that I get a drive now that can just be placed on an imager. ![]() I'd stop with technician and usb stabiliser for the time being and then make a decision about how much you want to invest into recovery. if you're having those sorts of problems with mechanical drives that require that that sort of imaging you shouldn't be thrashing them to death without fixing them. We've actually already decided on getting a license for R-Studio Technician, but now comes the bigger question, do we need a hardware level recovery tool?Īs /u/magnificent_starfish said the usb stabiliser comes with technician.īUT. If anyone has any experience with both or even one of these devices could you give me your experiences and thoughts about them? There is very little info on RapidSpar online, mostly just with USB Stabilizer. Are there some devices that USB Stabilizer would not be able to help with and RapidSpar could? Are we throwing money away with the USB STabilizer 10Gb and should we just get the Pro version? Which one of these tools would be smarter in the long run? I know that RapidSpar can for example turn off heads for partial recoveries and has the RapidNebula stuff etc. We mostly get easy stuff, like lost partitions, deleted files, broken connectors etc, but right now we have been getting more storage devices that don't show up at all on our PC's. ![]() ![]() Im kinda at a loss as to which one to get though. I've looked quite extensively into products from DeepSpar, mostly at RapidSpar and USB Stabilizer 10Gb. We've actually already decided on getting a license for R-Studio Technician, but now comes the bigger question, do we need a hardware level recovery tool? I work at a small brick and mortar computer repair shop and quite often get hard drives and other storage media which need to have some data recovery done on them.įor now we have been using EaseUS (yes i know very cringe), and have now started looking into a more professional setup. ![]()
